Fender Stratocaster Decal Stickers (Repair) - Set of 2 These sticker-type decals are very popular, as they are easier to apply than the often-difficult water-slide type. They are peel-and-stick, with a transparent background and are water-resistant, so unlike water-slide decals, they can withstand rain and a little bit of moisture. *These are not cheap, low-quality products that will easily rub off or disappear when wet. The classic and very popular transition logo for Fender. Commonly known as the "tra logo." (The second image is a "spa logo" for reference, but the product is the "tra logo," so please be assured.) How to Apply: Cut the decal to your desired size with the backing paper still attached, peel it off, and apply it while smoothing out any air bubbles with your finger. Then, gently warm it with a hairdryer, etc., to help it adhere. (Be careful not to overheat, as this can melt the paint or lacquer and negatively affect the wood of the headstock.) It will initially appear slightly milky, but it will become more transparent and blend in over time with occasional warming. Many high-value, real vintage Fender guitars have had their logos peel or wear off, and have been repaired with decals. However, please refrain from purchasing if you are hesitant about applying a Fender decal. (Please look for a Fender neck with the original logo intact.) These are easy-to-apply sticker-type decals, not the water-soluble type, so you shouldn't have any trouble applying them. (I have never received any complaints about this.)
