This is a pre-tied obi (sash) type. The color and texture of the threads give it a luxurious feel, and it complements heavy, high-quality silk kimonos and elegant patterned kimonos. I already had a regular obi, but I was worried about it coming undone, so I chose this type. On the day of the event, from the shrine visit to the evening meal, it didn't come undone, and my daughter was happy the whole time. I recommend this for those looking for a pre-tied obi that doesn't look cheap. There is some blackening on a part of the white braided cord (see photos), so I'm selling it at a significantly reduced price! The colors in the first and second photos (taken outdoors) are closest to the actual obi.
