A valuable work of art from the renowned Dold Exquisit workshop in the Black Forest, Germany. Skilled craftsmen carefully carve pairs of owls, thrushes, wild grapes, and other motifs from natural wood. It announces the time every 30 minutes, and on the hour, following the birdsong, four figures dance to the music of a Swiss Reuge music box. Limited edition sold in 1997 by Imperial Enterprise Co., Ltd., with a certificate of authenticity. For the Mercari listing, it was overhauled, inspected, and adjusted by Imperial Enterprise in January 2026. The performance is as good as new. Because it is a precision instrument, it will be shipped to the buyer in the same packaging as when the inspection was completed (photo 12).
