This particular ruler features "Tatami (Aokuchiba)" from Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, one of ten different types. While Midori is now famous for its aluminum and wood rulers, they also produced wonderful products like this in the past. I believe this is a wonderful product that incorporates Japanese crafts into a 15cm ruler.
