Beeswax balls for attracting honeybees. Approximately 10 balls, totaling about 50g. This is beeswax containing honey from natural Japanese honeybees. The photos are examples of the product. It is unrefined, so it contains honey and impurities. Placing it at the entrance of a beehive is effective for attracting honeybees. It looks unappealing because it's mixed with impurities and has turned black, but I intentionally use it because it seems more effective. (It's darker than in the photos.) In my experience, when I used Kinryohen, about 30% of the hives were occupied. However, by using beeswax balls, last year about 80% were occupied, and in some years, all 9 hives, meaning 100%, were occupied. I place about two balls at the entrance of the beehive and two inside the entrance. At first, I was skeptical, but when I actually tried it, it was truly effective. Instructions will be included.
