Our Bizen ware begins with crushing Bizen clay.
We don't use electric, gas, or kerosene kilns.
Once a year, for about two weeks, we keep the fire burning continuously.
At the kiln, we slowly fire the pieces at a temperature of around 1200 degrees Celsius.
Ten days later, we take them out of the kiln, lightly polish them,
wash them by hand, and inspect them for water leaks before shipping.
We hope you will enjoy the unique texture of Bizen ware,
