I bought it a few years ago for a boat, but I only attached it to the handle once for a test and then removed it immediately, and haven't used it since. I purchased a different product, so I don't plan to use this one in the future, and I'm putting it up for sale. The metal part of the bracket is made of stainless steel, and it has a wide contact area, so it doesn't wobble, providing a sense of security. The handle part is made of wood and has a luxurious feel, but the type of wood is unknown. The mounting surface to the handle can be adjusted to some extent with bolts and nuts.
