This is a large plate featuring calligraphy by the late Abbot of Todai-ji Temple, Akitoshi Sagawa. The powerful yet warm characters blend well with the vessel. Diameter: 32cm Height: 3.5cm Unused and stored for a long time. I've been meaning to use it with care, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do so because it feels like a waste. Even for display, it's too large and I don't have space in my home... so I've decided to list it.
