It has been kept in a drawer since I received it. ※It will be sold as is. ※When the crown is lightly wound, it ticked for several hours. ◆I believe this is a highly desirable item for railway enthusiasts, especially those interested in JR (Japan Railways). ◆It is estimated to be over 60 years old. ◆Product description is based on online references◆ 1950s hand-wound model The "19 Seiko" is a pocket watch equipped with a 19-type (approximately 42.8mm in diameter) movement. It began production around 1929 as a railway watch for the Ministry of Railways, replacing Waltham. It was a long-selling model, with modifications to its mechanism, and production continued until November 1971. Second setting (seconds hand regulation device) specification added in 1955. ◆The "SEIKOSHA" marking on the dial was changed to "SEIKO" in 1959.◆ In 1960, the post-war 19-type 15-jewel movement was released. In 1963, the shape of the hanging ring changed from "oval" to "round." In 1971, the production of the 19-type movement was discontinued. ◆This model has an oval hanging ring and does not have the second setting function, making it a model from the early 1950s. ◆The dial is generally baked and has a beige color.
