This is a set of a tray and bowls with exquisite spring nanakusa maki-e. The back of the tray is finished with nashiji (pear skin) and is sturdy. The bowls also feature nanakusa maki-e. A dandelion is painted on the inside of the lid, and delicate maki-e is also drawn on the outside. Size: Tray: 27.5cm per side, 3.5cm high Bowl: 11.8cm in diameter, 5.8cm high (approx. 8.7cm with lid) Condition: The tray has some paint peeling and minor scratches on the legs.
