Thank you for viewing. This is a flat-type tea caddy from Kyoto Kaikado. It's a 100g size for tea leaves. The inner lid is a "kuchidome" type, which seals the mouth of the cylinder. "Torikomi-bon" refers to a tea chest (chabitsu), a lidded container used to store a complete set of tea utensils. Tea caddies for torikomi-bon are slightly smaller, designed to fit inside this tea chest. I haven't used it much for storing food, so the inside is in good condition, but the outside has discoloration and scratches. Please check the photos for the condition.
