Upon reaching the squid, the structure is designed to flip up like a swing, leaving the 2nd and 3rd support points on the line, with only the 1st support point (the main body) swinging forward. Unlike conventional flip-ups, there is no loss in lifting the needles, and the forward speed, the weight of the Yaen, and the water pressure when reeling in all contribute to the flipping-up force.
