These are denim painter pants in the baker style, made around the 1940s during World War II. They feature black lacquer donut buttons on the front. The color remains about 80%, and they've already started to develop some nice vertical fading. They're in a condition where you can aggressively break them in to achieve your own desired fade. Considering the age, they're in pretty good condition, but there is a tear in the left back pocket, a 2cm fray in the fabric on the right knee, and some other minor stains, indicating some wear and tear. With vintage denim, especially Levi's 501, prices are skyrocketing, so I recommend getting a pair with good color retention while they're still affordable! Also, these have a pretty good waist size, and while the length is a bit long, the fabric is thin, making them easy to roll up. The fabric gathers nicely around the shoes, making them fashionable and practical.
