This is a 4-piece set consisting of a futon (Japanese-style mattress), a futon sheet, a comforter, and a comforter sheet. The futon itself is primarily made of polyester, making it lightweight and easy to carry. It was used for about two years, approximately 6-7 years ago, for naptime at a nursery school. Originally, a handmade applique was sewn onto the futon cover, and I removed it for this listing. There may be some fraying or needle marks on the fabric where the applique was removed. Also, as per the school's instructions, strings are sewn onto the futon cover, allowing it to be bundled up for easy carrying, as shown in photo 5. While there is overall wear and tear, there are no noticeable stains or tears. The covers (sheets) have some pilling, so you may want to replace them if you are concerned.
