This is a limited edition item that could only be obtained by those who collected stamps at Shinkansen stations in the East Japan area and met the conditions at designated NewDays stores, as a prize for the "JR East Plarail Stamp Rally 2024 - Commemorating the 65th Anniversary of Plarail" held in 2024. The E3 Series Shinkansen "Tsubasa" 2000 series intermediate car appears in a special clear version that allows you to see through the inside of the car body. This skeleton car is an intermediate car that requires multiple units if you want to create a full-scale formation like the actual train. The Shinkansen course prizes were given away one car each at the goal stores (NewDays) of each station by stamping the stamps at Fukushima Station, Karuizawa Station, and Echigo-Yuzawa Station and making purchases. This car is from Karuizawa Station, and the project was designed to appeal to collectors, as a full formation could be completed by collecting the prizes (lead car, intermediate car, and tail car) from the three stations. The E3 Series 2000 series is an excellent vehicle that operated as the Yamagata Shinkansen "Tsubasa" and ran between Tokyo and Fukushima in combined operation with the E2 Series and E5 Series. This clear version is attractive because of its special feel, allowing you to see its structure and the "Plarail 65th Anniversary" sticker pasted inside.
