This is a 1998 Gibson Firebird. This model faithfully features banjo tuners, just like the original. After purchasing it used, I installed a long tail vibrola (non-original) and replaced the knobs. The neck had already been repaired for a break when I bought it. I have never felt any issues while playing. The neck has no warping or twisting, and the frets have more than 70% life remaining, with no buzzing (based on my amateur inspection). There are dents and paint chips on the body and headstock (see photos). Also, one screw is missing for securing the 5th and 1st string tuners. The original hard case and stop bar tailpiece are included. Firebirds with banjo tuners have been rapidly increasing in value in recent years, but I am listing this one at a lower price than the market due to the modifications and damage.
