Thank you for your interest in this item. This is a set of a crystal glass bowl and spoon made by the Norwegian workshop, milyus. It was purchased from an antique shop in Nakameguro. The approximate size of the outer box is 10cm in length, 13.5cm in width, and 3.5cm in height. Originally, it seems to have been a gift item, and it is said to be given as a baby shower gift because of the saying "born with a silver spoon in their mouth (never wanting for food)." The actual use would be as a salt cellar on the table, perhaps. The spoon is made of silver 830, a silver commonly found in antique silver products from Northern Europe, and is engraved with roses. The bowl is made of crystal glass. Although it is unused, the silver has darkened with age. It is likely to be cleaned with reduction treatment, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
