They have been stored since purchase, and due to aging or perhaps differences in the original materials, there are variations in color. Also, due to the nature of wood, there are areas where the color is darker and appear like stains, and conversely, areas that are lighter. This is especially noticeable on the male figures. Please check the photos. Also, the movement is not very smooth. This may be the nature of the drawing figures themselves; I am not very knowledgeable about them, I apologize. A sticker with Danish writing is attached to the underside of the female figure's base. It is not present on the other two, but all were purchased in Denmark. I purchased these with the intention of using them as interior decorations and did not use them for drawing. They have been stored at home for a long time.
