I'm not sure when this was made, but it's a hand-painted ceramic butter dish. The colors are very cute, and I think it would also be nice to use as an interior accessory case. It's a vintage item, and while there are no major scratches, there are two chips on the handle of the lid. There are also some indentations from when the clay was formed.
