This is a commemorative towel from the Hanshin Tigers' 1985 championship. I bought it at the Hanshin Department Store, which was buzzing with excitement right after the victory, when I had the chance to go to Osaka. (I stayed in Osaka for three days and kept listening to the Rokko Oroshi song playing all over the city, and I learned to sing it.) I don't remember using it, but I did wash it from time to time. Please be aware that it's nearly 40 years old, so there is some age-related deterioration.
