I believe this is a long undergarment (nagajuban) from around the end of the Taisho era. It has been stored in a home chest of drawers for a long time. The condition is relatively good for its age, but the sleeves have been extended with additional fabric. This nagajuban features two different fabric patterns: the sleeves and the lower part of the body have a purple floral pattern, while the upper body incorporates a crane pattern with rose motifs. The sleeve lining and the body lining are reddish in color, but the materials differ. It is a nagajuban with a construction that evokes the era. *All materials are pure silk. While there are some minor imperfections on the outer pattern, there are no major stains. However, there are moth holes in the pink lining and some fraying at the hem.
