This is a mizutsugi (also known as mizasashi, suichu, or sensanbin), used as a tea utensil for sencha tea. It is made of white porcelain, giving it a luxurious feel, and features a relief carving (yokoku: carving that makes characters or paintings appear to protrude) of phoenixes and dragons among clouds. A lion is on the lid, and the name "Imari Saiun" is written on the underside of the lid. It is also made deep so that the lid does not fall off when pouring.
