This is a retro, vermilion-lacquered bowl found in a storehouse. It is considered an antique. It's usable, but... While I can't guarantee it, I believe it's from the Taisho to early Showa era. The design is hand-carved, so the base is likely made of wood, not plastic. It has been used, so there are small scratches, cracks, and discoloration.
