This is a used item. It has scratches, stains, and is generally yellowed. I have confirmed that it can read both sides. I have not checked all functions, but if there are any operational problems, I will accept returns and refunds. The items for sale are only the main unit, AC adapter, and power cable as shown in the photos. A USB cable and the original box are not included, so it will be shipped in a different box.
