Thank you for viewing. This is a U.S. military issue Universal Load Carrying Sling. It's a sling used in the 1960s. It was designed to carry items like mortar shell cases and M72 rocket launchers by inserting them into the sling loops and securing them. However, it was often used with pipe frame rucksacks or packboards, so it wasn't used very often, and you don't see it much in photos from that time. Please refer to image 4 for how to use it. 【Condition】 I purchased it as a deadstock, unused item, but there is some fading on the edges and the printing is faint. There are scratches on the hooks and buckles. Paper tag is attached. I believe there is a stock number printed on the inside of the sling, but I haven't checked because it was stored in the condition I purchased it (tied with string). 【Other】 ⚠️ To reduce shipping costs, I will untie the string and ship it in a more compact form.
