This is a lens hood for standard lenses from the Nikon F and Nikkormat era. ◯ NIKKOR Auto 50mm F1.4 ◯ NIKKOR Auto 58mm F1.4 It is made of metal and has an "F" marking. The other characters are also engraved, not printed. It is a snap-on type hood that hooks onto the lens's filter ring, so it can also be attached to other standard lenses with a 52mm filter thread. The inside of the hood is painted matte black to prevent stray reflections. As it is an old item, there are some minor scratches, but there appear to be no dents or dings.
