Without this, it clogs quickly. Blowing air into it doesn't easily clear the blockage. ◎ Needle length: approximately 30mm, needle tip inner diameter: 0.9mm, needle tip outer diameter: 1.2mm. (Air won't escape with a thinner needle. A thicker needle will damage small fish. This is the optimal thickness for small fish.) ★ For small filefish and female filefish during spawning season, release them after air extraction. Without air extraction, they can't dive on their own and become food for kites. Small scorpionfish are the same. ★ On boats with circulating seawater tanks, air extraction allows fish to swim normally and vigorously until the end of the trip. Watching filefish swimming energetically is enjoyable. If you keep them alive for a long time, you'll grow fond of them, and you'll often release them at the end of the trip ^_^. ◎ See the photos for air extraction instructions. Insert the needle about 5mm, and the air will hiss out. It's easier to extract air by gently pressing on the inflated part of the swim bladder while inserting the needle. Be careful not to press too hard, or the internal organs will come out of the anus. Remove about half the air; removing all of it is apparently not good. Air is said to re-accumulate in the swim bladder of released fish. ★ 【Caution】 Sharpen the needle tip with a file or similar tool from time to time.
