A deep dish by Pavot, a popular model from Choisy-le-Roi, France. Beautiful poppies are depicted. Diameter 24cm, height 3.5cm. An antique from the late 19th century. The surface is wonderfully glossy, with little sign of use. There is crazing on the underside, and faint stains within the crazing. There is a small old chip on the edge of the underside, but otherwise in good condition. Please see the last image.
