Traditional design hanging scroll ornaments with jade and tassels. These are fūchin, decorative weights for hanging scrolls. They are used as weights to prevent hanging scrolls from flapping in the wind and to keep them stable. This fūchin is made of onyx (striped agate), a natural stone with stripes. The diameter of the stone is approximately 3.5cm, and the length of the tassel is estimated to be about 13cm. They are often displayed in the tokonoma (alcove) of a Japanese-style room and are also enjoyed as interior decorations. This is a product from my grandmother's shop.
