This item was exhibited at the Sanshin 100-piece Exhibition held at the Okinawa Prefectural Museum & Art Museum in 2009. Made by Akamichi Matayoshi of Uruma City, who was selected as a "Contemporary Master Craftsman" in 2022. Ko-Yonahira style. Uses four-piece split black wood. The beautiful Ujirami pattern is scattered throughout the neck due to the Urushi Sunchi lacquer finish. Estimated market price: 500,000 yen. There are signs of use on the lacquer, and a slight crack in the lacquer on part of the dove's chest, but it is minor and there is no twisting in the neck, so it is in a condition that does not interfere with playing.
