Susie Cooper Blue Star Salt & Pepper Cruet 1950s~ Bone China Made in England Height: Approximately 6cm The very popular Blue Star series is already difficult to obtain, but this is a super rare salt & pepper shaker (cruet) that was included in the Breakfast Set. It's truly rare, and I don't think I'll ever see it again. I was fortunate enough to receive it from someone in the UK. The stoppers, which are often lost or deteriorated, are still intact from the time, which is very moving! Unfortunately, there is a slight hairline crack (a barely noticeable fine crack) at the bottom of the salt shaker. Since it's not for liquids, it should be fine to use as is, but I think it's best to display it without using it. There is a very small glaze chip on the bottom of the pepper shaker. Neither are very noticeable, and the gold gilding remains beautiful, allowing for a beautiful display. Please take a good look at the images as they are part of the description.
