Recently discovered and already extinct, this is Australian rainbow lattice sunstone. Thin, lattice-like or dot-like inclusions of ilmenite and hematite within the feldspar reflect light, creating a variety of colors. Depending on the light source, viewing position, and angle, various geometric patterns shimmer in iridescent colors, making it very beautiful. This raw stone has been tumbled. Photo 1 is a part of Photo 2, and Photos 2 to 5 show the same main face. Lattice-like and triangular patterns shine colorfully depending on the angle of light. Photos 6 and 7 show another face. Lattice patterns can also be seen here. The length is approximately 20mm at the longest point, the thickness is approximately 7mm at the thickest point, and the weight is approximately 3.1g. The background is white paper. Please note that this is a natural stone, so it has cracks and fissures. Thank you for your understanding.
