This is Vincent van Gogh's "Japonaiserie: The Bridge in the Rain." This work was created by Van Gogh, influenced by Japanese ukiyo-e prints, and is a copy of Utagawa Hiroshige's ukiyo-e print "Sudden Shower over Shin-Ohashi bridge and Atake." Van Gogh was fascinated by the vivid colors and bold compositions of ukiyo-e and studied Japanese art through his copies. The original of this work is in the Van Gogh Museum (Amsterdam). B1027
