This is an old Meisen kimono. The subdued, deep purple color is very beautiful. While it gives a calm impression for a Meisen, I think it would look lovely paired with a gorgeous obi. I couldn't find any noticeable stains or dirt. There is a small hole on the back of the right front panel, near the hem. There is some damage, including a tear, to a part of the lining (not the kind of wear and tear from use). Due to long-term storage, there are some stains on the lining, but the outer fabric and lining are still sturdy. I think this item is suitable for remaking. Please consider that this is an old, antique item, and may have some scratches or stains. It is impossible to confirm and report 100% of the minor imperfections of old fabrics.
