The length is a maxi length, about ankle-length for someone 172cm tall. I put a lot of effort into making it, using plenty of fabric. The size is L to LL, and the pattern was made by extending the length even further than the usual pattern. The sleeves are also long, with a "monkey arm" design, so the sleeve length is also long. It required an incredible amount of fabric. I was able to make a dress that I was satisfied with, but it's quite heavy (due to the sturdy linen fabric). It doesn't bother me when I wear it, but I was satisfied with making it and have only tried it on. I decided not to use lining because it would make it even heavier. However, I soon started using a cane, and a maxi dress is difficult for me to wear. I considered taking it apart to make small items or bags, etc., but I felt resistant to dismantling an item I haven't even worn. So, I decided to put it up for sale.
