This is a SESSION II 912P, a Japanese-made guitar from Yamaha, dating back to the 1980s. It was manufactured by Fujigen, the same company that produced Fender Japan, Ibanez, and Oval by Gibson guitars. This was the top-of-the-line model at the time. During the fusion music boom, its exotic looks, seemingly inspired by Warmoth / Valley Arts, are very cool. The active pickups were supervised by EMG. The rear humbucker can be coil-tapped by pushing the knob. It's easy to use, and with Yamaha's characteristic playability, this guitar offers excellent value for money.
