This is an Electro-Voice N/D468 dynamic microphone. I purchased it used about 10 years ago, but I haven't used it much. It's a microphone with a retro look and a cute form with yellow lines. I cleaned it with anhydrous ethanol, etc., and checked its operation before listing it. Compared to the SHURE SM58, the gain of the 468 is higher, and the overall sound quality is punchy. It has a good low-end push and a prominent mid-range, so I think it's good for toms, acoustic guitars, and electric guitars. Also, the high frequencies around 10kHz have the crisp feel common to Electro-Voice equipment. I had another 468, so I compared them. I don't feel any particular difference in sound. The urethane of the holder has deteriorated, so please repair it yourself. It can still be used without being too loose. I'm not sure if the microphone case is for the 468, but it fits.
