I like the compression and thickness of the front pickup's sound, and you can also get a slightly harder sound with the center pickup. The accuracy and tone of this History SSH are quite good. It's straightforward and also interesting, making it an easy-to-handle guitar. It was also fun to compete with my favorite pedals. I bought this guitar, which is better balanced than a used 130,000 yen History Stratocaster, for a slightly better price. I like the clean sound of the front and center pickups. (I wanted to play loud rock, and I replaced the rear pickup with a Seymour Duncan Nazgûl for more personality, but I removed it, so it's a junk item.)
