I actually tested it, and I was able to mirror the iPhone's video to the rear seat monitor using this multiport adapter via an HDMI cable. I actually tested it in my 40 Series Alphard, and YouTube and TikTok mirrored and played without any problems. Regarding audio, If you select "Car Audio" mode on the smartphone, the sound will come out clearly from the car speakers. The rear seat display I am using is Toyota genuine accessory, model number V8LX, an organic EL rear seat display. On the other hand, Netflix did not play videos properly. This is probably due to copyright protection (DRM). Previously, I received a report from another customer that mirroring was not possible with an Alpine car monitor. This is probably because Alpine's specifications do not support the mirroring protocol.
