It has a navy lining throughout, so it should be comfortable and not see-through. The length is 66cm, and it covers my knees when I wear it (I am 160cm tall). I think it can be worn for both formal and casual occasions. I have only worn it a few times. There is some roughness on the surface due to the original fabric, but I don't think it's noticeable.
