From standby, the speakers emit a buzzing sound that continues even when the power is turned on and the volume is adjusted. This sound persists even when the buttons are rotated and CDs, AM, and FM are played. The MD is malfunctioning and won't open or close properly. The TAPE can rewind and fast forward, but it cannot play. I am offering this item to someone who can repair it or for parts. There are repair videos available online if you search for the model number. I have cleaned the inside and outside, including the lens.
