Thank you for viewing. This is the drum part (chiga) of a sanshin. It was attached to a Koshonojo-type and used for classical music. There is no mistake about the genuine skin. There are no tears on the front or back, but they are slightly white. The scales on the front are normal. It has been two years since it was made. Both the front and back are tightly stretched.
