This is a work by Crafterior. ■Point■ Overlay glass refers to glass with layers of different colors. By carving away only the colored layers, various patterns and gradations are created. Therefore, steps corresponding to the color changes are also created, giving the glass a unique texture. Since the patterns are designed solely through carving, there is no color fading due to washing or aging. Motifs such as a full moon, rabbits, and pampas grass are scattered throughout. A rabbit leaping against the moon, and on the opposite side, a parent and child rabbit gazing at it are carved. When a light is lit, it evokes a nostalgic atmosphere, like looking at a twilight scene.
