This is a collection of goeika (sacred poems) from a pilgrimage of the Saigoku 33 Kannon temples, taken the year after the end of the Pacific War (August 1945). The "Saigoku 33 Kannon temples" is Japan's oldest pilgrimage route, visiting 33 temples scattered throughout the Kinki region and Gifu Prefecture. The Saigoku 33 Kannon pilgrimage has a history of approximately 1,300 years. The poems, written with a brush on Japanese paper, are bound with string.
