This is a work from the Engoji Kiln, a Mingei pottery in the San'in region. It's a seven-inch bowl with a white glaze on the inside and an amber glaze on the outside. It's a bit large and has a strong presence. The white glaze on the inside has an indescribable flavor, and a line runs around the outside, highlighting the shades of the amber color. I purchased this quite a while ago, but I've only used it a few times, so it's in beautiful condition. The atmosphere is a little different from recent works by Engoji Kiln, so it's a rare piece for those who love Mingei. I would be happy if someone who likes it would be interested.
