This is the aged version of Double Black. It aims to reproduce the sound of a numbered PAF-style pickup, replicating the bobbin shrinkage, aging, and warping due to coil tension, etc., but the tone is based on the sound of the stickers at the time. I think there are people who feel that shiny pickups on a well-used guitar just don't look right. It's best mounted in either the front or rear position. Due to the lineup revision, this item only will be offered at an outlet price.
