Purchased at a Sanrio shop near USJ around the time of USJ's opening. This was before Hello Kitty had officially joined Universal Studios. This series is rarely seen nowadays, and it has been carefully stored as part of my collection. The charm has been stored unopened. The pencil itself is in beautiful condition with no noticeable scratches. The price reflects its rarity and status as an item from that era. I hope to pass it on to someone who will cherish it.
