2013 marked the 30th anniversary of the death of Shuji Terayama, a video artist, poet, and icon of Japanese counterculture. To commemorate this, a collector's book was produced by Peter Tasker and Mark Pearson of Zen Foto Gallery. It features English translations of Terayama's essays in a loose-leaf format, accompanied by detailed notes. This attractive box set also includes the original Japanese version, photographs by Daido Moriyama and Takuma Nakahira, two giants of Japanese photography, and large reproductions of photographs by Terayama himself. This book was published on a non-profit, complimentary basis, and is a rare limited edition, currently the only publication featuring Terayama's prose in English.
