This is a resin eye, approximately 10mm in size, made during the customization figure era by someone who likely created and sold the first vertically-elongated iris eyes in DD custom history (at the time, Volks anime eyes all had circular irises). Naturally, it's old and has yellowed, but it's less yellowed than other resin eyes from dealers made after this, which are 18mm or larger. The preservation condition may have been good, but there is no fading of the iris. The colors are blue and purple. The iris design is the same for both. I didn't buy a head with inset eyes at the time, so I kept it unopened. By the way, customization figures are still available for purchase on the Volks Hobby Tengoku online store, but heads with inset eyes are mostly sold out. It seems that Volks eyes for customization figures also didn't have vertically-elongated irises. Please consider purchasing with the understanding that this is an old item.
