The white base features a Japanese-style floral and bird pattern in red and blue, with gold accents for a gorgeous look. The pot is tall and large, suitable for coffee, tea, and Chinese tea. The demitasse cups have a capacity of about 80ml (about 110ml when full), about half the size of a regular coffee cup, and are perfect for serving a small amount of demitasse coffee or Chinese tea after a meal. The saucers are flat plates without a groove to secure the cup, and can also be used for small sweets or as individual plates.
